Ceilings, floors and walls are constructed as modules made of cross-laminated timber; pure structural timber without any doubling – serving as the supporting structure, room divider and surface finish all in one. The arrangement of the rooms in a row creates a double-shell structure that meets even the most stringent sound insulation requirements. The ready-to-install room modules, including a multifunctional bathroom unit, were manufactured in the factory. This has enabled a high standard of finish as well as a short construction and assembly time on site. Modern technology and unpretentious design come together here as a matter of course. On the façade of the four storeys of rooms, the individual modules are accentuated by protruding metal frames. Otherwise, the building is a clear timber structure with vertical boarding made of rough-sawn, untreated larch.
